Power Plumber unblocks drains in seconds. It contains a gas that reacts with water once released from the can creating a strong turbulence which pushes away matter such as soap build-up, hair, grease, food particles and paper which might be blocking the drain. The product requires water to be effective, as it is not pressure that clears the drain but the strong turbulence as a result of the chemical reaction between the gas and water. A short one-second burst is all that is usually required to clear the drain. Holding the can down longer will just waste gas to no effect.
